Experience and Background
- Be recognised as having both exceptional technical delivery skills and very strong banking finance, risk and treasury business process knowledge
- Ability to take client aspirations and ideas and support them in turning them into a practical architecture delivery approach for a major programme in line with relevant standards and business drivers.
- Excellent communication skills which have enabled you to gain support from senior management and stakeholders
- Broad personal networks across the Retail, Wholesale or Investment Banking industry to support business development opportunities
- Historical experience of managing teams of architects/delivery consultants across multiple disciplines
- Led and managed architecture/delivery, acting as the point of authority, resolution and escalation
- Experience working closely with technology delivery functions throughout the delivery lifecycle to enable a seamless transition from architecture to implementation
Qualifications and Skills
Experience of multiple delivery methods to draw on
Current delivery expertise as a lead solution architect/programme/project manager with a focus on application architectures and how these support business process architectures
Good banking knowledge - detailed understanding of banking processes and good understanding of banking and trading products and services as they relate to retail, corporate, wholesale and investment banking businesses
Good end to end finance process knowledge, covering business event processing, cost management, financial control, statutory/management/regulatory reporting, tax, capital management, planning budgeting and forecastingWe are looking for candidates that can demonstrate flexibility and evidence of capability to provide business led- IT delivery services across different industries. This means having the capability to understand business objectives / context and translate these into the delivery of technical solutions in a variety of environments.
