Banking Analyst recruitment

This person will ideally have an understanding of basic accounting and will possess or show the aptitude to develop deep financial analysis skill. The position supports all members of the Middle Market, Non Profit, and Communication Banking teams on existing and new credit relationships.   The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects under tight time constraints.

Banking professionals at BBH will, over time, have exposure to clients, senior management and Partners. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

•Written credit analysis for periodic credit meetings with bankers and partners and presentations at credit meetings

•Due diligence for new and existing credit relationships

•Executive summaries of incoming new business opportunities for Banking New Account Committee (BNAC)

•Financial modeling of company financials and forecasts

•Support bankers on client/prospect visits and in internal meetings

•Monitor credit files/databases to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and timely credit reviews

•Preparation of credit department reports

•Internal financial analysis, industry research projects and white papers as required

•Provide day-to-day support for client relationship maintenance, new business development and various administrative activities.

•Assist in the marketing of BBH products and services including the development of marketing materials and tracking of prospects.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills

•Interpersonal maturity, confidence, and poise

•BS/BA degree with overall GPA of 3.0 or higher

•Proficiency in computer spreadsheets and presentation applications

•Ability to work independently in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

•Strong financial analysis/modeling skills
