About the challenge
You’ll be the first point of contact for up to 400 international and private banking clients – each of whom will know you by name and rely on you to expertly co-ordinate their financial affairs. You’ll provide this specialist support mainly over the phone but also by email, letter and fax – always complying with strict guidelines and legislation, and making sure you achieve both personal and departmental targets. It means building an excellent understanding of day-to-day customer needs across a diverse range of delivery channels, as well as liaising effectively with counterparts in other areas of the business. Key internal clients, for instance, will include Private Bankers and Private Bank Executives.
About you
You’ll have gained your customer care experience in an industry where compliance is a priority. Ideally you’ll join us from financial services and you’ll definitely have the kind of strong contact centre background that’s equipped you to deal with demanding situations. Your communication skills, in particular, must be exceptional and you will be able to demonstrate your ability to build relationships successfully and have prior exposure to portfolio management or caseload management dealing with a wide range of clients. We’ll also look for a real talent for negotiation, the ability to influence and a flair for absorbing and interpreting large amounts of information in many different formats.
