BCM Event Manager (BEM) SME/Expert/Programmer - Solaris, Perl, Shell
BCM Event Manager SME required for our investment-banking client based in London to implement event-processing rules accordant to scripts and provide support.
Candidates will be involved in:
- Implementing event processing rules accordant to scripts
- Technical design of rules on agreed user requirements
- Alert correlating to reduce alert columns, indicate root causes and improve alert quality
- Create automotive error remediation to self-heal on problems as indicated by alerts/
- Documentation of implemented features
- Hand-over to production
- Candidates will need the following experience:
- Multiyear experience with BMC Event Manager
- Prolog Programming (BMC Event Manager rule programming)
- Scripting (Shell, Perl)
- Solaris environment of BEM Implementations
