Bendix King, a strategic business unit of Honeywell Aerospace, and a global leader in aviation serving General Aviation (GA) community, is seeking a highly motivated and well qualified engineering leader to oversee development of Bendix King Navigation and Communication (NAV/COM) Radios and related products for General Aviation (GA) aircraft. The position will have primary engineering oversight and work closely with Bendix King senior leadership, sales, marketing, and our customers to ensure these Bendix King products and deliver leading edge performance and technology while meeting the high expectations our customers. This position will be located at Bendix King ??s headquarters in Albuquerque, NM . The key responsibilities of the position are as follows: - Provide overall technical and project leadership for Systems, Software, and Hardware Engineers performing product development on all NAV/COMM related products. - Provide ongoing engineering support for existing (legacy) NAV/COM related products. - Ensure execution to project certification, including any function-specific quality and certification requirements. - Provide expertise for associated technologies, and be recognized as a project and industry leader in NAV/COM radio systems. - Manage and mentor engineers to improve the overall knowledge base and improve project execution. - Review market requirements and ensure engineering alignment for new product development. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering - 7 + years of relevant related design, integration, and certification experience in the NAV/COM field of expertise with -
