Benefits Realisation Manager within PMO
A leading IT managed services client now requires a Benefits Realisation Manager within PMO, to establish an approach to benefit management and realisation engaging all stakeholders to ensure agreement. The Benefits Realisation Manager within PMO will develop the process and reporting mechanism to capture, monitor and forecast the financial savings identified in both project and post-delivery activities ensuring full delivery of benefits to the agreed schedule (or earlier). The Benefits Realisation Manager within PMO will work with the Programme Directors and Business Sponsors, Programme and Project Managers to understand, develop and capture the business benefits from each proposed activity, and support the development of the business case to clearly define the benefits and methods for measuring and realising. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
* Proven experience of working within a Project Practice team within an IT, Managed Services or Technology organisation is essential
* Proven experience of creating and reviewing business cases with the ability to identify real tangible business benefits
* Highlight good overall knowledge of financial accounting and reporting, specifically related to the company's Business
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the differing Business Unit functions and the company's strategic objectives
* Proven ability to work in a high pressured, constantly changing environment
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels
* High level of accuracy/attention to detail
* Ability to document processes concisely in terms understood by all target audience is desirable
