Fund Financial Controller
A highly regarded and entrepreneurial real estate fund manager that has significantly grown its AUM over the past couple of years is currently in the process of expanding. With a number of high profile deals already under way in 2013, they are now looking to bring on a fund financial controller to be responsible for their UK funds. The role will be a mixture of both fund and corporate accounting and day to day responsibilities will include, investor reporting, fund modeling, forecasting and deal analysis, setting up new funds and preparation of NAV statements. You will work closely across the Finance Team and the wider business to contribute to the development of finance processes.
Given the nature of the role we are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) that has at least 3 years post qualified property fund accounting experience ideally gained from another real estate fund manager. Proven modeling, forecasting and business analysis skills would prove advantageous although not a perquisite however those with system experience in Yardi Yoyager would be useful as a system implementation is currently underway.
