Bespoke Pricing Analyst – South West – Exeter recruitment
You will contribute to managing the pricing and technical delivery of customers which are predominantly on Flexible products. These customers are managed using strategic IT solutions which feed into the B2B pricing and billing systems.
The Bespoke Pricing team are accountable for updating the cost stack within the B2B Pricing systems, ensuring that accurate and competitive prices are generated. The Bespoke Pricing Analyst role is highly analytical and you will be required to use a set of tools and models in order to support the B2B customer base.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all pricing requests are undertaken within the Pricing SLA
- Generating quotes and analysis for:
- Ensuring that quotes are generated in line with the pricing policy and within the relevant FAL (Financial Authority Limit)
- Processing quote acceptances and generate customer specific billing rates
- Working alongside the Pricing Development team to ensure that all operational processes are documented and up to date
- Ensuring that contract acceptances are managed within the relevant IT systems
- Supporting the B2B gas customer requirements, which include loading the daily price curve and generating deal tickets for the demand forecasting team
- Generation and upload of daily and weekly electricity tradebook
- Updating and maintaining revenue reporting for Finance teams
- Generating contractual amendment documents (Letters of Variation)
- Supporting/Chairing Commercial Delivery Teams for more bespoke B2B Customers
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record or equivalent industry experience, coupled with Intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills (VBA is advantageous). You will be analytically focused and have experience of managing and interpreting large volumes of complex data. You will have the ability to communicate and challenge at all levels as well as excellent problem solving skills in order to look for innovative ways to improve processes. Knowledge of the UK Energy sector is advantageous.
