BI Business Analyst – Insurance – London Markets recruitment

Leading London Markets Insurer has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Business Analyst to identify, shape and specify business, data and information requirements on a range of projects in line with strategic objectives.
Essential:
* Strong BI Analysis Skills (Business Focused)
* Strong data structure skills
* Knowledge of Insurance; specifically the Lloyds' market.
* Information cleansing and conforming experience
* Experience in working with business users across various levels.
* Good analytical skills with good business acumen.
* Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
* Experience in working in a project/change environment.
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
* Organised and efficient, able to work to deadlines.
Desirable:
* ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis or ISEB Foundation Certificate.
* Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.)
* Knowledge of SDLC and agile approaches to software development.
* Knowledge of modelling languages (BPMN, BPEL, UML etc.)
