Title: BI Specialist Location: null Other Locations: null CIBER, Inc. is searching for an experience BI Specialist. · Provide operational support of Enterprise Data Warehouse to include load and integration processes, as well as development and support of data services to deliver data to .NET applications. · Seeking versatile and motivated individual with good people skills experienced with .NET Web Services and Data Warehousing. · Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases. · Design, update and maintain computer programs using technical focused development to support business unit needs. · Interact with various information systems personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems and suggest changes. · Compile and write documentation of program development following established methods so others can understand the program. · Conduct trial runs of programs utilizing approved testing procedures to be sure they will produce the desired integration results. · Write or contribute to instructions and manuals following documentation standards to guide end users. · Perform revision, repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. · Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written by conducting appropriate technical research. · Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. · Current experience with .NET Web Services and SOA technologies (3 years preferred) · Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience (3 years preferred) · Experience using UNIX and developing shell scripts · Developed solutions scheduling solutions using tools like Tivoli, UC4, Control-M · Experience developing data warehouse solutions in heterogeneous distributed environments · Data warehouse methodologies and fundamentals including relational modeling, dimensional modeling, and BUS Matrix. · Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts including Portals, information delivery, reporting, reporting metadata, reporting templates, dashboards, scorecards and performance management, KPIs, and BI for mobile devices. · Tools and technology skills: SQL, ETL (Informatica, SSIS) and reporting tools (MS Reporting Services, Hyperion, Cognos, Business Objects, or Seibel Analytics) · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience. · Experience writing computer programs for various purposes. · Minimum of 3 years experience. Preferred Skills: · Experience in Informatica ETL · Experience in MS Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Oracle, and SQL Server · Experience in SharePoint, Performance Point, and Excel Services
