Bilingual (Spanish) Inside Sales

Doyou have what it takes to be a part of eCommerceeCommerce is the world’s fastest growing industry and we are a rapidly growing eCommerce distributor of wireless networking products in Lisle.  We are looking for a tech-savvy business developer who is fluent in Spanish for our immediate opening in Sales. The position requires a high degree of judgment, a mid-level knowledge of wireless networking product and extraordinary communication skills.  A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a high-paced sales-quota driven environment and will possess a minimum of 5 years in a business development experience in the product distribution industry or eCommerce:

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage telephone and email sales inquires about WiFi solutions offered, assisting customers with product selection, 90% of customer interaction will be over the phone and email
  2. Perform prospect calls covering a wide geographic range and diverse customer demographics, including Latin America
  3.  Follow up on all leads forwarded from the sales channel partners
  4. Plan follow-up calls and maintain all reporting and administrative functions in an accurate and timely fashion
  5. Provide prompt and professional responses to product and pricing requests, assist customers with system design /technical questions (training provided), provide first tier technical support and trouble shooting (training provided).  
  6. Represent the company in 4-5 industry trade shows per year
  7. Coordinate with the Operations Director, Warehouse Manager, Accounting and suppliers to ensure that the complex customer service issues i.e. shipping errors, delayed shipments, tracking lost or delayed shipments, are properly researched and resolved
  8. Coordinate with Purchasing on product needs, product re-ordering and product arrivals
  9.  Take orders over the phone or via email, assisting customers with placing orders on-line
  10. Researching product availability and preparing sales estimates for products stocked in our warehouse and for products available at our partner vendors
  11. Utilizing strong communication skills, educate customers about the company’s return and warranty policies and the complex technical support model.

 

Job Requirements:

1.  Bachelor Degree in Marketing or IT, min. 3-5 years of distribution industry a must 

2.  Strong computer skills, MS Office required

3.  Ability to address customer objections, answer technical questions, comprehend customers' needs and react quickly. Experience calling on/into large organizations and communicate with Senior IT Personnel

4. Proven organization skills, ability to work with little supervision with a high degree of judgment

5.   Strong aptitude for technology, willing to learn the basic concepts of wireless networks and engineering concepts (frequencies, devices, network components, etc).  The candidate must strive to maintain current on technology advancements and industry standards

6.   Basic accounting skills, such gross margin concepts, basic understanding of credit card fraud concepts and preventative controls.  Import and Export experience a plus.

7.   Strong collaborative skills, feels comfortable working with a multi-disciplined team, Sales, Shipping, Engineering

8.  Professional polish, pleasant telephone skills, is able to resolve issues with a positive attitude in a high-pressure environment.
 

COMPENSATION

Base salary with a strong commission incentive
