Billing Analyst (Mobile Telecoms) Job in Dublin, Dublin Ireland

Our client a major mobile telecoms group requires an experienced billing analyst/telecoms business analyst to work as part of a team responsible for the technical support of their billing processes. This position is initially offered as a 6 month contract role but is likely to become permanent in due course.

 

Main Responsibilities

·         Maintain awareness of changes and developments which may require input from the Billing Operations team. Act as a point of contact for any pricing issues or queries from other areas in the business.

·         Managing the assessment of any direct impacts on billing, and pricing, and highlighting concerns immediately and constructively

·         Ensure that any changes to processes or systems that you are involved with run smoothly, minimising the disruption to the operational systems

·         Play an inputting role in any new pricing releases, providing accurate details of the (pricing) systems requirements, and working towards manageable solutions enabling support to be carried out when the product is rolled out.

·         Ensure a clear and accurate record of all price plan, promotional or SOC/feature impacting changes is kept for audit purposes.

·         Document all analysis/resolution initiatives in detail, especially those which require changes to the tasks or processes in Billing Operations.

·         Maintaining and developing the relationship with other teams to enhance pricing and product knowledge and be able to find solutions to issues which may arise.

·         Support and manage one-off pricing related issues and ensure their successful completion with accompanying documentation

·         Prioritise and escalate where necessary, issues/risks causing concern.

·         Prepare data and analysis as required by the Billing Operations team Leader for inclusion in presentations to other managers and teams for a variety of needs.

·         Forging links with other departments where there is benefit to be gained from co-ordination of efforts.
