I am currently recruiting for an Binding Technician for a large City brokerage. This role will be seated within the finance team and allows a lot of development into the insurance industry.
This role is an ongoing temporary assignment which has the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate
Key Responsibilities
Dealing with Multi currencies and with complex accounting.
Worked with large Ledgers and IBA allocating cash and keeping bad-debt to the minimal.
Clearing old items within a time frame and passing all non-bureau items onto Underwriter.
Audit projects to ensure that ledgers are completely up to date
Supervising out- sourced teams in India.
Reconciliation of all accounts on Binding authorities.
Process debt and credit notes.
Dealt with client and Underwriter queries.
Production of slips and endorsements
Dealing with claims issues regarding offsetting premiums with claims.
