Bloomberg Tradebook – Execution Consultant recruitment

The Role
Bloomberg Tradebook is looking for an experienced electronic Sales Trader with an institutional brokerage background specializing in covering buy side and broker/dealers to join their San Francisco team. The candidate should have extensive international (specifically Canadian) equities, ADR and program trading experience.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated desk and be responsible for managing risk and sales trading BLOOMBERG TRADEBOOK clients while also positioning our products and services. This individual will be responsible to build new business and develop existing business. The candidate will work with and liaise with other teams and departments to help reach this goal. The candidate should have strong knowledge of algorithm strategies and experience with electronic execution and analytics platforms.

Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of proven work experience in institutional brokerage as a sales trader.
- Minimum 10 years experience with electronic trading and advanced trading analytics (i.e. TCA).
- Candidates must have 5+ years' extensive experience with international (specifically the Canadian equity markets)/ADR trading and/or program trading experience.
- Proven relationships with buy side institutions (hedge fund and/or long only IA's) specifically within the West Coast, Western US Canada.
- Knowledge of buy side order management systems (i.e. - Charles River, Linedata, Eze Castle, etc…)
- Excellent communication sales trading skills.
- Strong leadership, client consulting organizational skills.
- Knowledge of execution strategies and systems.
- Strong understanding of the financial markets and the needs of both buy side institutions.
