BMS Controls Engineer Job in Glasgow, Scotland Uk
The key responsibilities of the role are;
- To provide a technical service with the minimum of supervision to the companies clients in respect of BMS Control systems including Trend, TAC, Satchwell and other Control and Instrumentation service, repairs, maintenance and installation.
- Control Scottish area controls, collate and submit quotations in conjunction with the project manager.
- Complete performance reviews and staff training analysis as well as onsite site inspections.
- To undertake Controls and Instrumentation PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are meet.
- Monitoring and interrogation of the BEMS.
- Modification to building services control and instrumentation.
- Identify and incorporate energy efficiency control strategies.
- To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota (if applicable)
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
- To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
- To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
- To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
- To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.

- Building services relevant qualification
- Satchwell Training
- Trend System Engineering
- Trend 963 Engineering
- Trend 963 Operators
- Trend IQ Engineering
- Trend Power tool
- Trend SET
- TAC training, Honeywell Training, other BMS system controls systems.
- Site Surveys and Q/S knowledge
- 5+ years in providing Controls and Instrumentation building services.
- Had exposure to working under strict H S procedures including risk assessments and method statements.
- Had exposure of working within a critical site environment.
