Bookkeeper/Finance Manager

My High Wycombe based client has a job vacancy for a high level SME Bookkeeper/Finance Manager to join their expanding business on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be qualified by experience and looking to advance to a finance manager role.  

Main duties:
Nominal Ledger - coding invoices
Managing both the Sales and Purchase ledger function
Credit Control
Cash Flow Forecasting
Buying currency and dealing with conversion rates
Import and Export
Multi Company accounts
Project Accounting
Managing Expenses
Preparation of VAT returns
Assistance in the preparation of the Management Accounts inc PL and Balance Sheet
Month and Year end processes including revenue recognition, accruals, and prepayments

The successful candidate will have experience of Sage Line 50 or other similar applications, Banking (including FOREX), Knowledge of fixed assets and stock and depreciation.
You will also be involved in the Accounts payable and receivable, BACS and Foreign transfer payments.
Strong Microsoft Office skills are needed as well as experience of project accounting, Preparation of VAT returns, Management Accounts and Cash Flow Forecasting.
