Bookrunner – IR swaps recruitment
An excellent opportunity has appeared within a leading global investment bank for a driven candidate with an ambition to forge a career in trading.
My client is looking for a swaps bookrunner on the Interest Rates desk. You will gain a thorough understanding of the desk front to back as well as invaluable exposure to the trading floor. If you are looking to move into the front office this is an ideal platform on which to start as you will be performing what is essentially a junior trader position.
You will be dealing with a high volume, dynamic desk. Facing off with the traders but needed to interact with other areas of the business as well as senior management. Strong communication skills are essential as well as experience of closing a book on the trading desk.
Candidates will not be considered if they do not have the following skills and experience:
• Strong knowledge and experience of T+0 system.
• Previous experience of running a book.
• Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Greeks. Delta/Gamma/Vega
