Job Purpose

Our Client is currently looking for a Compliance Manager who will ensure the duties performed by the organisation are in accordance with the regulations and Group policies and implement these procedures to ensure that both Group and Regulatory standards are maintained

Key Responsibilities
* Proactive responsiveness in assisting the Head of Compliance on the capture of regulatory change
* Assist the Head of Compliance with the implementation of regulatory developments, provide guidance and advice on key aspects of regulatory change and support in the identification of business impact
* Provision of regulatory and compliance support, advice and guidance to ensure appropriate operating procedures and controls are in place
* Assist in the development and maintenance of Compliance Framework, the identification and management of compliance risks and upkeep of Compliance Risk Assessment
* Report all significant breaches, potential breaches of applicable law and regulations to line management
* Provide technical support and assist with the provision of compliance training to staff in business areas
* Monitor compliance risks through dedicated compliance monitoring programmes and escalation of compliance issues
* Assist in the development and maintenance of the Compliance Manual and updates to Compliance Procedures upkeep of Client Compliant Policy to ensure dealt with promptly and in accordance with local regulations
* Responsible for the rollout and implementation of Group Compliance policies locally

Key Knowledge and Experience
* A number of years relevant experience in a compliance role or equivalent in the financial services industry, preferably relating to fund administration and custody, at manager or equivalent level
* Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
* A full appreciation of the Irish UCITS and non-UCITS regulatory regimes, in particular as the regulations apply to fund administration and custody, is desirable
* Experience of dealing with regulators is an advantage
* Ideally have a strong understanding of AML regulations and best practice
* Relevant legal/business/accounting degree or equivalent
* Relevant Irish Professional Diploma in Compliance with ACOI (completed or willingness to complete) or equivalent
* Excellent working knowledge and understanding of the traditional and alternative investment industry and surrounding processes in relation to Fund Administration operations
* Excellent communication and presentational skills and proactive approach to work
* Highly professional individual
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
* Excellent Word / Excel capabilities
