Responsibilities

This role leads the development and delivery of marketing communications projects for business-to-business marketing initiatives. This role independently identifies and leads branding and communications projects, from initial idea or solution through to excellence in execution and delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to both contribute to the creation of communications projects through ideation, writing and design, as well manage agency and freelance partners. Projects may include sales-presentation development, proposal/response writing, prospect-marketing campaigns, product sheet and sales tool development. Must be able to interact with senior-level executives, as well as to independently represent Branding Communications on cross-department teams and initiatives.

Manages new-business marketing activities, including proposal development, sales presentations and video for selling events.

Creates direct marketing outreach programs and customized sales tools for key prospects.

Develops product sheets, white papers and other sales tools that reinforce the company¿s brand and communicate its competitive advantage.

Manages industry-marketing programs in support of new-vertical sales efforts.

Provides additional support to key branding and communications initiatives.

Supports selling teams by creating internal reference/training materials.


Qualifications

Demonstrated marketing-communication skills required. Must have proven writing, design and/or creative direction experience.

Must be able to synthesize information from multiple sources, and to create the ¿story line¿ or to identify and craft key messages.

Should have project experience with a variety of media, including email, web and video.

Must be able to influence and lead, including managing and orchestrating project participants outside of the Branding Communications team.

Must possess outstanding project management skills, to meet expectations of on-time, on-budget and error-free delivery.

Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of individuals on all organizational levels, serving as a marketing communications consultant or ¿internal agency¿ to internal partners.

Must have experience with branding and brand strategy, to serve as a steward of our brand.

Must be driven to continuously identify new approaches and solutions; a high level of creativity is required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:Bachelor¿s Degree in business administration, marketing, communications or equivalent related education and/or experience required.

Experience:5-7 years professional work experience in marketing preferred, with a minimum 3-4 years specific experience in marketing communications-related work.

Should be prepared to share a portfolio of work upon request.
