Job Description Bridge Engineer Project Manager: Candidate will be primarily responsible for managing engineering services for bridge engineering projects involving; design of highway bridges, design of bridge widening and rehabilitation, and bridge safety inspections. Duties will require; providing design leadership, marketing bridge engineering services, and management of personnel. - Requirements: B.S. Civil/Structural Engineering or related degree. Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia with 10 years of experience in: managing bridge engineering projects; design of highway bridges, marketing engineering services; participating in interviews and presentations; and participating in public involvement meetings. Good written and verbal communication skills required - Additional experience that will be beneficial for this position, includes: o Design requirements of VDOT. o NBIS certified bridge inspector. o Design-Build projects. o Design of moveable span bridges. o Design of tunnels. o Construction Administration. o Design of railroad bridges. o Masters Degree in structural engineering, or related.
