Broker Dealer Sales Executive recruitment
Job Description:
- Generate revenue through sales of BondEdge, Application Programming Interface (API) and other products in the institutional and brokerage segments of the market
- Identify prospects through cold-calling, direct mail and various other marketing efforts
- Respond to incoming product inquiries within assigned territory
- Perform consultative sales calls via Webex or onsite visits with prospective clients
- Gather and use information from the market to identify new sources of product revenue
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a MBA/CFA a plus.
- 5-7 years experience in a comparable financial sales environment, preferably financial software products for the broker-dealer market with emphasis on fixed income, risk management and derivates.
- Minimum 5 year successful sales track-record with demonstrated overachievement of revenue or new sales targets
- Demonstrated track record driving revenue in new markets and developing product lines to meet the needs of new market segments
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets and analytic practices
- Motivated, self-starter
- Facility with software and computers
- Professional presentation and writing skills
- Can-do attitude and strong collaborative skills
- Extensive travel, at least 50% required
