Build Manager (Configuration, Release), Financial Software House recruitment
Build Manager (configuration, release) required for a City based Financial Software House to deliver a build pipeline for a Java based Web application. This is an excellent opportunity for a Build/Release/Configuration Manager who enjoys Continuous Integration and Delivery and is looking for a new challenging project whilst establishing a career path within an expanding financial services organisation.
As an experienced Build Manager you will need to have worked extensively with Continuous Integration and Delivery from both a design and implementation perspective alongside day to day build management. Ideally you will have moved from a technically hands on development or application support background into build/release/configuration engineering and therefore have gained a deep technical understanding of Java web based applications.
The system being deployed is a Java web based application and from a technical standpoint you will need to demonstrate skills with Java, Maven and Subversion in a Linux environment. Furthermore you will be working with Artefact repositories e.g. Nexus and code coverage tools and experience of this must be demonstrated in previous projects.
Ideally Build Managers will be working for another financial services organisation with a particular preference for a Build Manager within insurance, however those who can demonstrate a strong technical competency with the desired technical skill set will be considered from any industry.
