Busines Analyst – Data Loss Protection recruitment
Role overview and responsibility:
- Collaborate with the business to understand rules to incorporate into the Symantec DLP technology to reduce the risk of intellectual property leaving the bank via email and other technical mediums.
- Implement APAC Data Loss Protection policies once legal approval is granted.
- Build good relationships with key areas of the business
- Gather requirements from the business in order to understand what intellectual property is at risk of leaving the organisation and translate these into technical rules that can be imported into the DLP technology. These rules must successfully identify sensitive information leaving the organisation.
- Complete project deliverables within aggressive timescales
- Successfully gather requirements for DLP rules form the business
- Implement the rules to successfully detect sensitive material leaving the organisation
- Define APAC rule set for DLP
Candidate requirement:
- Good experience in leading DLP toolset technologies eg, Symantec DLP
- Excellent understanding of creating DLP rule sets that identify sensitive information leaving an organisation.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully engaging with various areas of the business, building good relationships and gaining trust.
- Ability to communicate technology terms clearly and in layman's terms with application managers in the business.
- Excellent communication skills
