BUSINESS ANALYST – CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS recruitment
Core Responsibilities:
- Gathering of business requirements at all stages of the project lifecycle and obtain sign off from stakeholders.
- Production of process maps for ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes, and production of use cases where appropriate.
- Stakeholder management.
- Delivery of project documentation including feasibility studies, gap analysis, operating models.
- Detailed analysis on the requirements and ways to meet those requirements in conjunction with the architecture team.
- Coordination of feasibility studies, gap analysis exercises.
- Recording project issues and risks.
- Reporting progress to project/task manager, stakeholders.
- Presenting overall solution to stakeholders to obtain buy in, presentations, slide packs, documents, forums etc.
- Definition of business and system support models.
- Peer reviews of colleagues deliverables in order to drive up quality and ensure consistency.
- Identifying, recommending and delivering opportunities for improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness of deliverables.
- Liaison with third party suppliers.
Core Skills:
- Strong analytical, conceptual and quality awareness skills.
Core Requirements:
- Experience working on full lifecycle projects for the Marketing/Client Management teams.
- Experience working on projects involving content management solutions and CRM systems is essential.
- Understanding of the Investment Management industry, processes and practices.
- Proven track record of business facing BA/consultancy roles within Investment Management.
- Senior Stakeholder management experience.
- Experience in Data Analysis.
- Widespread experience in Requirements Engineering and Management i.e. identify, produce, analyse and prioritise requirements.
- Must be able to model and design solution alternatives i.e. evaluate solution, approve the solution with the stakeholder, work with IT to create the specification, support the development during the construction phase, assist in Business Acceptance Test activities and facilitate sign off of the new solution.
- Experienced in leading working groups, taskforces, etc.
- Good level of experience in working with system suppliers/software vendors.
