Business Analyst – Group Operations Central Offshoring recruitment

The role of a business analyst is to support the Central Outsourcing and Offshoring function as well as Group Operations business functions in managing any new transition of roles from onshore to offshore and guiding functions through the various aspects of the transition lifecycle.

The role remit is wide and flexible depending on the successful candidate's interests and aptitudes. Core responsibilities include:
• supporting a set of business functions, both from a new transition perspective as well as managing the ongoing compliance to the OBI process / outsourcing and offshoring policies in general.
• acting as the main point of contact for guidance on anything related to outsourcing and offshoring for those functions and may be exposed to providing regular updates at the respective functional management committees as required.
• monitoring and supporting new transitions in line with standard transition methodology. Propose transition plan and work with the relevant business functions to ensure a smooth transition of work from onshore to offshore.
• providing guidance and signoff on all phase movements throughout the lifecycle of a transition.
• OBI facilitation – working with process owners and other logistics functions (Legal Compliance, ORC, Tax, Finance, CC NBP), IT functions (application owners) and IT Risk Management (application assessors) to ensure processes being offshored, as well as any applications required to be used offshore, have been appropriately reviewed and approved.
• managing the offshoring business case and budgets as appropriate and ensuring appropriate benefits are assigned to any additional headcount offshore. This will require working closely with the functional business managers to ensure consistency in the functional business plans vs. offshoring business case.
• having a full understanding of Outsourcing Offshoring policies and support functions in adhering to those policies. This will include delivering education on how to comply with these policies.
• full ownership of cross-functional controls as necessary, e.g. monitoring offshore usage of applications vs. approved usage of applications, quality of outsourcing inventories, functional certification to OCD standards etc.
• engagement across Group Ops to leverage transition and control related methodologies and ultimately work on ensuring a common mandate.
• supporting annual Responsible Officer certification of offshore processes.
• input into industrialization as well as any future plans for nearshoring or locational strategies.
• ad-hoc support for functional management team: preparation of materials, team community building exercises, small-scale project execution
• working closely with other business analysts onshore as well as supporting Vendor Relationship managers and Global Head located offshore.
• support and furtherance of Group Ops Offshoring objectives and vision statements

Requirements

• Proficient in presentation and analysis techniques and tools (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
• General ability to pick up information quickly and turn around deliverables under pressure
• Continuous improvement focus/ ability to apply to processes
• Strong Microsoft Excel skillset
• Previous project management skills
