Business Analyst

- Based in Liverpool Street, London
Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) is a global institutional securities house covering sales, research, ECM, execution and derivatives and delta one activities. MSG uses its research and risk management skills to develop equity-based solutions and services for clients internationally.
Responsibilities include:
Project management
- Supporting the business on change management initiatives This will ensure that:
- risks associated with all proposed changes are appropriately identified and managed
- all necessary stakeholders have been consulted and
- the proposed changes are appropriately documented (relative to the number of stakeholders, nature and complexity of the change).
Operational management
- Liaison with MBL support functions on new business set up – e.g. ISD, QAD, Credit, RMD, Internal Audit, MEL Back Office, Treasury / FX, Tax, Compliance, Legal Services
- Defining and driving business requirements.
- Implementing business process reviews.
- Defining processes for new products or initiatives.
- Assisting and providing guidance on product control and risk issues as they arise.
- Financial management and management information reporting

- Ability to quickly understand MSG's equity business and internal Macquarie business processes
- Effective project management, business and strategic planning skills

- An understanding of operational procedures and risk controls
- Ability to scope and document development requirements in support of business and operational initiatives
