Position Description
This position will be responsible for delivering customer-centric, supply chain solutions that make distinctive, lasting and substantial improvements to our customer???s performance.

Responsibilities
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build strong relationships with central replenishment and order specialists
- Initiate regular customer contact in order to manage current opportunities and build strong working relationships:
- Opportunities with inventory flow and present solutions
- Demand and event planning
- Stay abreast of customer???s current requirements and anticipate future needs
- Develop a deep understanding of customer???s current business, industry and supply chain

CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
- Oversee inventory management activities for assigned commodities
- Manage inventory flow of a given set of commodities:
- Develop accurate future forecasts and demand plans
- Create accurate replenishment plans
- Monitor actual compared to forecast and make appropriate adjustments
- Review system settings and work with customer to adjust where needed
- Ability to problem solve as challenges in the supply chain appear
- Increase overall product freshness through proper inventory flow
- Execute standard reporting as needed for customer
- Limit company exposure to inventory liabilities
- Item file Maintenance:
- Item Creation
- Order Guide maintenance
- Traiting issues
- WM system errors

COMMUNICATION
- Initiate regular and timely communication with customer and internal contacts that focuses on account project management initiatives
- Frequent communication with external and internal team to implement collaboration of forecasted volumes
- Timely turnaround on customer requests and policy changes

LEADERSHIP
- Develop an in depth understanding of the complete supply chain, analyzing the coordination of supply, procurement, inventory flow, and merchandising
- Maintain a culture of accountability and execution

Required Education
- 2 to 5 years of related experience
- BA/BS degree preferred
- High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools, word processing, presentations and other related programs
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate, influence and organize
- Good analytical, sales and negotiating skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in preparing and negotiating customer contracts with close attention to detail
- Proven ability to generate and implement creative and innovative solutions to problems/opportunities
- Well developed communication skills- oral, written, listening
- Excellent technical writing skills with a proven record of high quality deliverables
- Must work minimum of one holiday annually
- Must work Saturday rotation
