Business Analyst
There are currently three initiatives within the Global Standards Programme which these roles will be aligned to:
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD): developing an integrated framework to manage financial crime risk more effectively across the complete customer lifecycle
- Financial Crime Compliance (FCC): creating a consistent, flexible and scalable Compliance organisation and the Financial Crime Risk controls to make sure we meet all regulatory obligations
- Transaction Monitoring: building our capabilities in capturing and use of customer and transactional level data to identify suspicious transactions, activity or connections
To be considered for these opportunities candidates must be elegible to work in the UK and have:
- Experience of large scale, regulatory change programmes in a banking environment – commercial banking advantageous but not essential
- Working knowledge of CDD, KYC, Sanctions, Financial Crime Risk or AML
- Experience of gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
- Experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in complex environments
- Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills
- Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
- Sound judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles
- Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
