The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support in the end to end CAPEX/OPEX process to the Strategic Procurement team. The key outcomes are to ensure process integrity in the delivery of timely and accurate services. This also includes the effective and efficient management of the process, benefits realisation and the application of appropriate governance measures.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Category ownership and management, including admin support;

• Negotiating key contractual terms with contractors and suppliers;

• Ensure compliance to all procurement governance and advise as required

• Managing suppliers within category ownership, supplier relationship management;

• Manage and facilitate all RFQ including communication with external third parties;

 • Identifying Business Improvement opportunities and deliver against them, implementing best practice sustainable procurement solutions.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

 

• Member of relevant professional bodies e.g. CISPA (Desirable but not essential)

• Relevant tertiary degree in Business/Finance/Logistics would be highly regarded  

• 5 years experience in a commercial environment;

• Understanding of process improvement (define, measure, analyse, implement and control);

• Knowledge of e-procurement tools and processes;

• Demonstrated experience in delivering against the Procurement lifecycle;

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills with a winning mentality and an ability to effectively influence outcomes;

 • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
