Senior E-commerce Manager
Antal International are currently recruiting on behalf of a major retailer who are looking to recruit a Senior E-Commerce Manager. The company is currently undertaking a strategy of reducing its estate in terms of high st retail space and is re-shaping its product proposition with a major focus on E-commerce and multi-channel.
The Senior E-Commerce Manager will report into the Head of Online and manage a team of six people including an Online Marketing Manager, Category Manager, 2 web merchandisers and a production manager and assistant.
Ideally the candidate will come from either an Online Marketing or online trading/merchandising background and be commercially astute with the ability to prioritise and manage their team around elements of the business that will make a big difference to sales. They will be resulted orientated and always challenge the business and sites on the basis of continual improvement.
The main focus of the role will involve managing a team to create strong commercial propositions and promotional activity via trading and merchandising and throught typical online acquisition channels such as PPC/SEO/affiliates and display. A good understanding of business financials covering sales, margin, stock and cost management would be a distinct advantage.
