MarketSource, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Analyst to provide tactical support and data analysis. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible and highly organized, has the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues, and is comfortable interpreting meaning and relevance from raw data. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right background to extend their experience and apply their analytic skills in an area that delivers measurable impact for a leader in today's technology industry.
The successful individual applies expert knowledge and understanding of all interdependencies between business processes; partner experience data elements tracked by various systems/processes; and provides subject matter expertise related to the customer experience data.
Required Skills:
Responsibilities:
- 1 year SQL Server 2005 experience
- Ability to build, edit, develop SQL Query’s based on business requirements
- Ability to communicate to a professional non-IT audience
- Strong analytical abilities:
- Year over Year analysis
- Ability to communicate market and product trending
- Market Share analysis
- Ability to create and modify MS Excel VBA Macros
- Adapt to adjustments in a fast-paced work environment
- Receptive and responsive to immediate tasks
- Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to ask relevant questions, considering all risks and benefits associated with the project at hand
- Consultative client experience recommended
- Ability to demonstrate confidence, and communicate any necessary changes to your team
- Motivated by change and work best in a team environment
Required Experience:
Requirements
- Proficient in MS/Office products, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (V-look-ups, pivot tables) is required
- SQL Server 2005 experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
