Business Analyst – Banking Payments recruitment

A leading Investment Bank requires a Senior Associate - Business Analyst to join their, Funds Transfer department in London to complete detailed project documentation including Business Requirements, test scripts etc for new systems and processes and support their implementation including the completion of user and test cases. You will perform detailed business and Gap analysis for existing processes and make recommendation for improvements. BA experience in a banking environment and Payments/Settlements is required.

The core responsibilities include:

Conduct detailed business analysis and prepare comprehensive Business Requirements for a replacement system;

Prepare detailed and comprehensive functional and user acceptance tests cases/scripts for new systems;

Complete detailed process mapping and gap analysis of current processes, identifying and recommending improvements in accordance with market practice and regulations;

Completion and maintenance of department organisation and internal controls documents.

Experience Required:

Previous business analyst experience in a banking environment with experience in payments and settlements high desirable.
Familiar with Operational Risk and Control environments.
Experience in the documentation of Operational Processes.
Knowledge of various BA work practices - Waterfall, RUP, Six Sigma
