Key Responsibilities:

Planning will include the creation of a schedule of work and a review work paper.
?
The Analyst will be expected to create high quality documentation including requirements documentation, presentations and documentation of key controls.
?
The Analyst will also verify existing CASS transaction flows for products and, if required, address any gaps or inaccuracies in the transaction flows.
?
Good knowledge of data analysis, process design and process improvement will be very important for this role.
?
They are able to reach and agree a common consensus in the face of differing opinions and viewpoints and in adverse conditions.
?
The individual will be part of a small review team, and as such will be expected to be confident and equipped to drive the analysis of possible issues, managing their own time and that of others required to results, whilst escalating issues to management as required.
?
The candidate for this role will add value at all stages with a constructively questioning approach to ensuring quality in deliverables.
?
They are adept at identifying and shaping solutions to problems identified. Above all this person will be reliable in delivering quality.

A proven track record in scoping, managing and documenting a review of CASS including key controls, transaction flows and producing high quality work papers and reports
?
The candidate must have a strong review background, such as that obtained via consultancy (e.g. a member of the ‘big four’)
?
Experience of documenting key controls including their definition and assessment
?
Understanding of regulatory compliance within financial institutions
?
The candidate must have demonstrable experience of conducting regulatory reviews to the highest standards.
?
The ideal candidate will have experience within Operations within a financial institution as well as knowledge of the FSA’s regulations pertaining to CASS.
