Business Analyst – eFX – PERMANENT recruitment
As a Business Analyst you will work with the Front office to define business requirements, document detailed user stories acceptance tests, review code quality with the Developers by executing acceptance tests and reviewing results.
Main responsibilities
BA process skills eg RUP, Agile, Scrum.
Delivery focussed to help drive business requirements, with an eye on Return On Investment.
Typically Project/Workstream Aligned, there will also be the requirement to work on “Studies” for new potential new initiatives.
The Business Analysis team in Alpha are also responsible for the in-sprint Quality Assurance of Alpha. This means working closely with the Development team to Knowledge Transfer business requirements, definition and execution of Acceptance Tests, review functional completeness of delivered code.
Post sprint work with the Release Team to review and triage defects, prioritise new business requirements, ensure production quality of service.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple stakeholders multiple downstream project dependencies, deal with conflicting priorities, logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Reporting to Program Manager with Functional lines into Project Managers depending on current assignments
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
- Degree level
Past experience
- Requires previous experience of working on complex integration projects within a major Investment Bank
- Experience of Trade lifecycle management in an execution environment
- Experience of one or more of FX, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Commodities, Derivatives
Languages
- English: fluent.
- French is a plus
