Business Analyst – Financial Reporting recruitment
The business analyst will engage with all lines of businesses impacted to perform detailed assessments, GAP analysis and document business requirements for IFRS 12, the new consolidation standard.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying the population of entities for which disclosures required (especially non-consolidated entities).
- Segregating the population of entities into groups in accordance with the IFRS 12 requirements.
- Assisting with sourcing the data for the disclosure requirements for each group of entities.
Essential Skills include:
- High level of accounting experience particularly in consolidation, preferably IFRS
- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
- Investment Banking experience particularly performing the accounting analysis on structured trades and funds
- Business Analysis work on accounting projects
