Corporate Finance Specialist  

Based in Asia, our client is diversified business Group with interests spanning engineering, construction, transport services, motor trading, property, retailing and insurance broking. The Group’s principal operating territories are in Greater China and South East Asia.  With a premium listing in London and secondary listings in Bermuda and Singapore, the Group achieved a record underlying profit of US$1.3 billion in 2010.

With a proven track record of promoting finance professionals, the Group is looking to recruit and develop a high calibre Finance professional to initially join the Hong Kong or Singapore operating offices. It is expected that after an initial incubation period high performers will be promoted to a finance role in one of the Group’s operating companies throughout the region.

The successful candidate will be required to help identify and look for potential acquisitions and business development opportunities across the region. The candidate will also work closely with regional Finance Directors of the Groups operating companies. In time, it is also envisaged that the candidate will become involved in the groups extensive executive development initiatives across the region.

Ideally you will be of graduate calibre with a degree in either Accounting or Finance from a leading institution. You will have seven to nine years post qualification experience with strong financial discipline from an MA, Corporate Development, Commercial Finance, Strategy Planning or Management Consulting background. Big Four working experience would also be an advantage. You will be fluent in English and Bahasa and the ability to speak Mandarin and / or Cantonese is also advantageous.
