Business Analyst – Front Office Trading System

This role is based within a Front Office technology vendor. The role involves capture and analysis of client requirements; specification and agreement of solutions of the Front Office Platform; ensuring the delivery of these solutions is as per expectation; providing business support to our clients through their own testing; and providing go-live support.

Key Requirements

You will have experience of the Front Office platform or experience in a business analysis role.
Be able to grasp concepts quickly, and have attention to detail.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Be able to communicate information to different audiences with different backgrounds.
Be able to think on your feet, think laterally and use initiative.
Have the capacity for hard work and dedication.
Have strong numerical skills.
Must have a good understanding of Asian stock exchanges

Duties and Responsibilities

To use your expert understanding of the business and practises of Equity and Derivatives trading and how our products support this.
To provide presentations and demonstrations of the product and functionality, both to internal teams and clients
To explain the functional line to customers.
To help customers achieve the optimal set up, and get the most out of the product suite.
To analyse often complex requirements and produce specifications for the build team.
To analyse enhancements, agree sensible solutions and document functional specifications.
To analyse interfaces to third party and customer in-house systems.
To produce and maintain functional descriptions, training documentation and other materials to the required corporate standard.
To ensure that client systems are fit for the purpose on delivery.
To ensure that all users are sufficiently prepared to use the systems, providing training both on a group and one to one basis, as required
To provide intensive on-site support immediately before, during and after roll-out, including out of hours or early morning support where required.
To help ensure the viable design of enhancements and new features of the core product.
