Recently or Imminently Qualified Accountant with Audit background required for Financial Reporting position at UBS recruitment
This position sits within the London Branch Reporting team and involves investigating variances in the ledger. You will interact with all of Finance within the Investment Bank, and so will be exposed to all asset classes (liaising with Product Controllers), liquidity and funding, regulatory controllers, accounting controllers and other financial reporting teams.
An audit background is ideal as you will be used to interrogating controls and indentifying the cause of the variances, you will be comfortable with interacting with a variety of Finance professionals and at all levels, and you will be used to learning ledger controls in a time pressured environment.
Financial Services audit experience is not a prerequisite, though working with global organisations would be advantageous.
Even if you are due to qualify in September 2012, it is worth making an application as the interview process plus serving one month notice will still ensure you are inline with meeting your training programme requirements.
