This is a W-2 position that could be extended. The Pay range is from $20.00 to $25.00 hr. DOE. Business Analyst : Investment Bank - Finance Business Management - The Investment Bank Finance Business Management's goals are to ensure a sound control environment and provide financial advice to support the business strategy. The IB FBM centralized infrastructure project team provides project management support for Investment Bank and Corporate Finance initiatives impacting a variety of systems from risk management to the general ledger which span across multiple lines of business within the IB. Position Description: The project team is responsible for supporting a variety of cross business functions, including managing location strategy projects, analyzing and implementing post migration improvement opportunities, business support of technology/infrastructure initiatives, as well as, providing project support that may be very specific to one or more of the lines of business. The project team is also responsible for executing all steps of the project life cycle (initiation, planning, business requirements, functional design, build, test planning execution and implementation) including but not limited to the following: Drafting standardized test cases to be leveraged during UAT (user acceptance testing) Participate in UAT across all Investment Bank lines of business Partner with technology to ensure the design and build requirements meet business needs Ensure control framework is not compromised by project implementations Qualifications : Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Able to analyze and critically challenge when warranted with the goal of resolving issues Leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Access Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues Ability to work independently and be self motivated Interpersonal and influencing skills Accounting skills/experience a plus Project management experience a plus.
