Business Analyst – Enterprise Derivative Reporting System Project

 

Job Description:

Responsible for Business Analysis for enterprise derivative reporting system replacement initiative, participate in the development and execution of user acceptance test plan/cases, and liaising with the business and the technical teams.

Requirements:

·         Experience in Planning and Execution of UAT

·         Strong documentation skills with experience in developing business requirements documents, business process flows  and testing artifacts

·         Proficiency in MS Office suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)

·         Strong written and spoken communication skills

·         Strong business acumen

·         Understanding of capital markets products, e.g. derivatives

·         Self motivated individual who possesses exceptional time management and organizational skills, strong attention to details and accuracy

·         Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

 

Knowledge / Experience:
- Required: Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience within the Financial Services industry in a project-focused and technology-based environment

- Knowledge/understanding of derivatives, trading life cycle and regulatory and financial reporting requirements.

- Education Required BA/BSc

 

Key Accountabilities:

Provides Business Analyst expertise to the business groups involved in the management and reporting of derivatives in the organization.
- Bridge the gap of understanding between the business needs and the technology considerations.
- Participate in detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business issues.

- Document business requirement document in collaboration with the business SMEs
- Develop user acceptance test plan /cases, execute user acceptance testing.

- Document future state business process work flow.
- Provide support and assistance to business during implementation and parallel runs, as appropriate

- Document and participate in Business user training and System Documentation.
