Misys is a leading global application software and services provider to the banking and capital markets industries.
Misys Loan IQ is the leading global syndicated commercial lending platform. More than 1/3 of the world’s loans and ½ of the world’s loan trades are being serviced by Loan IQ.
As the product portfolio is evolving continuously, new features and functions are required as independent software components, as well as enablement of Loan IQ within the Misys Bank Fusion platform.
Our Development Programme centre in Dublin is expanding rapidly to meet the high market demand for Loan IQ, and as such we have live vacancies for:
We currently require a Business Analyst, who will:
- Interface with clients, Product Managers, and other project stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and identify a product’s business requirements, scope, issues, and solutions
- Write functional specification documents and business requirement documents based on the clients’ (internal or external) request and interviews with subject matter experts and technical team
- Understand the impact a change might have on the product/programme and be able to guide definitions accordingly.
- Clearly communicate related changes to the project team and management
- Serve as the first point of contact for project teams and management regarding documented product features and requirements
- Ensure product functional specification documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately
- Participate in writing and/or review of product development materials as needed
- Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing. Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades and document processes.
- Estimate effort for development products
Key skills / experience required:
• A strong understanding and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working independently and as well as within a team
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to communicate with senior technical and management team
• Experience in working with developers and discussing possible design options
• Extensive experience with business analysis and translating business requirements into functional specifications
• Knowledge of Loan IQ is highly preferable
