The Team
Global Outsourcing Solutions provides comprehensive and market-leading outsourcing services to the Investment Management community. In particular, we deliver high quality, global solutions for asset managers to outsource their middle and back-office functions.
The OnCore service and platform combines our Asset Servicing technologies around trade processing, data warehousing, accounting, performance measurement and trading to create a comprehensive solution to support our Clients.
Information Delivery is a key component of Global Outsourcing Solutions. It is responsible for a product suite that returns information back to a Client after BNY Mellon has performed the services purchased. The information provided back is in many forms, from raw data sets such as Start of Day information, through Oversight Dashboards to Client branded End Client reporting.
The Role
Information Delivery requires an experienced Business Analyst to assist in building out its product capabilities. The candidate will work collaboratively with Client, business and IT partners to clearly define business and functional requirements. They will support the design and delivery of solutions in projects they are assigned to, becoming a recognised SME, as well as initiatives that are part of broader global outsourcing implementations.
The candidate will:
• Work within the overall product vision, recognising key objectives, strategies, sponsorship, and priorities consistent with our contractual obligations, regulatory changes, and product requirements
• Work in partnership with both Clients and internal BNY Mellon and Eagle colleagues in defining business and functional requirements to ensure a high quality of delivery
• Contribute to product capability and usability, promoting a best in industry ethos of continuous quality improvement
• Communicate timely progress to appropriate stakeholders
• Identify and recommend new applications, solutions, and project integration opportunities across other implementation projects and/or products
Qualifications
The candidate must have:
• Extensive relevant industry experience, covering front, middle and back office activities
• Strong analytical and communicative skills demonstrating the ability to dissect requests and/or requirements, understanding industry standards against custom requests, documenting and representing them to both technical and business stakeholders
• The ability to manage multiple priorities/clients and be able to manage overall capacity, priorities and escalate critical issues and/or risks as necessary
• Outstanding oral and written skills. An innate desire to produce artefacts to a high standard
• A strong sense of team work in the development, articulation and delivery of multi-layered business and systems strategies
• On-going commitment to expanding their business and technology expertise
• The ability to travel to Client sites and other BNY Mellon offices
The candidate would ideally have:
• Experience of working in front office integration projects
• Experience of Client reporting, such as Fund Factsheets and Quarterly Statements
• Experience in designing User Interfaces
• Experience of the Eagle Investment Systems suite of applications
• Experience of vendor Client Reporting applications, such as Kurtoysis, Vermilion or Equipos
• Experience of Business Intelligence concepts and tools, such as MicroStrategy, QlikView or Business Objects
