Business Analyst – Physical Commodities Trading
You will come from a physical commodities background and have an excellent understanding of the end to end commodities trading lifecycle.
Working closely with developers within an appreciation of Agile and ability to engage with business users regularly is crucial.
The role will cover Position Management, Trade Pricing, Valuation, Hedging processes, MTM/PnL and Risk.
Person Requirements:
- Must have 5yrs+ of proven business/systems analysis experience within Front Office environments.
- Solid appreciation of the end to end Trading Lifecycle for physical commodities, preferably within the Oil, Metals or Energy
- Experience in working with physical commodity hedging and its impact on trading PL
- Must have a good enough understanding of overall trading PL and PL explains to allow productive discussion with business users
- Experienced in Agile methodology and an appreciation of SOA
- Technical skills: UML, Excel VBA, etc.
