Business Analyst / Project Manager
The Business Analyst / Project Manager with Strong Risk / Regulatory change experience will be required to improve conflict management capabilities via the review of policies, processes and setting up a Control Room with scope across the business. The successful applicant will need to work closely with Finance, IT and other stakeholders from Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk to initially document existing business processes within Regulatory Reporting / Financial Control.
Regulatory Change forms key part of the wider Financial Control Change Management function, supporting Financial Control in achieving its objectives by facilitating improvements to processes and systems, resolving issues and increasing efficiency effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be supporting the firm's major regulatory-focused projects, including the implementation phase of Basel 3, CoRep and CRD 4.
Key responsibilities:
- Defining and implementing a target operating model for conflicts management
- Assist in building a business case for implementation
- Determine and document business requirements for different divisional areas and define a delivery plan
- Delivering presentations to s enior management and achieving stakeholder buy-in
- In due course, the role will potentially involve responsibility for more junior business analysts, providing direction and guidance to less experienced members of the team, during the complex analysis phases of projects.
Experience Required -
- Significant project change experience in a Business Analysis role, with an understanding of different industry standard methodologies
- End to end project delivery of business change
- Significant presentation to senior stakeholders experience
- Clear experience in defining and implementing Target Operating Models
- Requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Advanced Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Significant regulatory knowledge
- Project experience within the risk and regulatory space
- An in depth knowledge of Investment Banking compliance processes
- Structured BA skill set within risk/compliance change projects.
- Experience in the Control Room or Compliance Change
