Business Analyst (Sharepoint/Web) recruitment

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science

• Minimum 4 years of working experience with at least 2 years of experience in Sharepoint development

• Working experience in the banking industry preferred

• Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office productivity tools, SQL queries

• Specialist Knowledge of MS SharePoint and related Web technologies

• Some web site or user interface design experiences will be preferred

• Understanding of Project Management Methodologies (Prince 2 / PMBOK), IT Service Management processes e.g. ITIL v3 would be advantageous

• Proficient communication skills (spoken and written) in direct customer facing with users, peers and colleagues

• Ability to rationalize and identify validity of the implementation approach and operating model

• Ability to perform holistic analysis of work processes to adequately identify needs for effective solutions

• Able to analyze laterally on issues and always keeping the end goal in sight; and manage project independently

• Willingness to take on new challenges and explore to improve current exposure

• Good appreciation of IT policy, standards and guideline for adequate enforcement of compliance in the course of performing the duties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Business/Systems Analysis in MS Sharepoint

a. Perform end-to-end engagement to ensure a smooth and effective full system life cycle functional processing for applications under the team’s custodianship

b. Develop use case specifications and use case diagrams for effective design process

c. Develop quality requirement specifications

d. Effective tracking and reporting of progress and milestones

e. Co-ordinate the planning of user acceptance test, user acceptance sign-off and production implementation

f. Perform and facilitate change requests and change management process for effective and timely implementation of deliveries

g. Perform governance and quality control for compliance of deliverable to the Bank and regulatory standards and requirements

• Application Service Support Management

a. Provide incident support reported by users and performing initial investigation and diagnostic and document the findings for escalations

b. Ensure accurate tracking of issues to facilitate timely closure

c. Account for the solution components for applications and provide oversight on these components.

d. Work with and supervise external partners who are engaged to perform work on the related system components.
