Business Analyst/ Sr. Technical Writer recruitment

My client is developing a market-leading global solution in the mobile banking arena that links together banks, payment technologies, customers and social networking groups (hosted via my clients Mobile Solutions chat service), into one hub. Money is effectively moved in real time via mobile phone, web, IVR, and in multiple currencies through this hub. Through the combination of my client's integration capabilities and our Mobile Solutions suite of services, clients are positioned to offer their customers a secure and robust mobile offering for all of their financial needs.

ROLE

The Business Analyst/ Sr. Technical Writer(Analyst) will be responsible for defining, analyzing and documenting, user requirements, procedures, problems and leading joint design efforts to offer a new solution or value proposition to customers, automate processing or to improve existing business processes and associated information systems. Working closely with members of the Product Management, Client Service, Development, User Experience, and Documentation/ Training Teams, you will master the use of our application and software. You will develop and update product documentation, as well as internal development documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Solicits client requirements through interviews, workshops and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
*Evaluates business requirements for applications and systems integration and service activation, while delivering new or modified software systems enhancements and/or integration solutions.
*Conducts reviews of and analyzes business and information technology processes and prepares essential groundwork for the development of systems.
*Participates in the definition, testing, training, implementation and support of system requirements.
*Identifies customer requirements, develops test schedules, reviews testing plans, tracks and documents the development and results of these plans.
*Ensures requirements are understood, agreed to and signed off at the appropriate early stages in a project.
*Provides UI mock-ups. Leads design discussions and identifies design options.
*Provides user documentation for the system.
*Lead/participate in development, conceptualization /or analysis activities
*Understand functionality expected solution/resolution
*Review project deliverables to ensure client signoff acceptance
*Organize reviews, follow approved processes, standards, guidelines schedules
*Escalate problems/issues

QUALIFICATIONS
*This position requires a highly motivated individual who is able to grasp complex industry concepts and learn quickly.
*Interacts with all levels of the organization, including senior members of the IT organization as well as the line of business.
*Minimum five (5) years' experience
*Previous supervision or project management experience is a strong plus.
*Solid understanding of technology including web-enabled n-tier architectures
*Extensive hands on experience with: Excel, Declarative Languages (e.g. SQL).
*A thorough understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Process Management (BPM) concepts
*Must have experience in documenting requirements, business needs and features
*Strong knowledge of banking/financial services is preferred for this role
*Ability to independently facilitate/coordinate JAD sessions
*Working experience in UML modeling and tools
*Proficient in Requirement management process
