Business Analyts – 6 months contract recruitment
The client is a leading European bank in Singapore and is looking at hiring a Technology Business Analyst due to the increased demand in its projects. You will be joining a regional reengineering project and this will be a 6 months contract with the bank as a start.
Key Roles Responsibilities
- Drive data quality improvements from current CDMS data model.
- Data Migration mapping, strategy and implementation to new platform.
- Data Modelling / Workflow design for the new CDMS system.
- Provide the design and data mapping for the CDMS downstream interfaces.
- Manage stakeholders of all levels and domains for business requirement gathering, analysis and obtaining sign-off
- Prepare functional specification and work with development team on the system design
- Build and execute test cases, coordination with various parties, countries, Interfaces teams, Development teams during business testing phases execution
- Actively interact with the application designers, architect teams and work closely with other development/delivery teams for the delivery of solutions.
- Assist Project Manager with project implementations plan
- Ability to escalate issues in an effective manner and resolve these in conjunction with the rest of the team and/or the vendor
Qualifications Skills
- A minimum of 7 years experience as Technology Business Analyst
- Must have worked for at least 5 years in banking/finance on global applications maintenance, development and implementations
- Experience in the implementation of document management systems in the banking domain would be beneficial (end-to-end document lifecycle - from point of capture, storage, retrieval, archival, disposal)
- Demonstrated experience in writing documentation for projects.
- Determine the level of formality required and consider options for documenting and packaging requirements based on project type, priorities, and risks
- Ability to plan an approach for analyzing, categorizing, and managing requirements.
- Proficiency in quality assurance and control processes
- Ability to communicate effectively technical information to non-technical audience, and business information to technical audience
- Defining test strategies, test suits, conducting various tests and obtaining acceptance from various parties
- Effective negotiation, spoken and written communication skills in English
