Business Architect International Base Global Role Core Banking. The Lead Business Architect is responsible for the overall functional solution design provided to a client, including signoff. He/she has strong banking knowledge across a wide range of domains and has the ability to steer clients towards acceptance of the Model rather than changing product. The Lead Business Architect also has a broad knowledge of Core Banking. The Lead Business Architect has the responsibility for the overall solution design on a project. This process starts from the Pre-Sales scoping phase and continues through the implementation, at key stages on the project, on a part time basis (once design is signed off, the next project is undertaken with oversight on the still to be completed projects). Lead Business Architect is to visualize and convey to the client by mapping to clients business the standard capabilities, highlights main delta areas, proposes high level solution approaches to close them to be done during pre-sales and or engagements and solutions. This will be the basis for the scope and the delta areas identified will be finally filled with detailed solution designs during the analysis/design phase by the Business Consultants under leadership of the Lead Business Architect. The Lead Business Architect is responsible for all solution designs provided by onsite and support consultants working within the specific project. He/she is tasked with ensuring consistent (process) design across projects, uniformity of deliverable quality standards and maximizing the reuse of available components and packages available through the Application Management group and others working closely in conjunction with Global Competence Leads. The Lead Business Architect focuses on identifying the business solution to be provided to the client, with a strong emphasis on adopting the Model Bank processing capabilities, while focusing on deltas which provide measurable business benefit to clients(e.g. by means of process-led workshops or scoping exercises). As a senior role within the consultancy stream, the Lead Business Architect builds relationships with his/her respective clients as well as with his counterparts within the organisation, and is seen as a thought leader within the project both by clients and his/her peers. The is a cross Business Functional role requiring a talented individual with commercial acumen as well as highly skilled in terms of technical, functional and business solutions through each stage of the life cycle from a consulting perspective, a design perspective, a development perspective and including the delivery capability
