Business Architect – Operations recruitment
The Business Architect will lead business process reengineering efforts across a number of strategic and tactical onboarding-related projects.
This role requires significant attention to detail, using your initiative and extensive liaison with the partners within the business and support structure. The person will also be in a position to identify process improvements and manage the implementation of these with technology. Other responsibilities will include:
• Gathering business requirements, writing use case models and use cases.
• Defining and modelling business process flows.
• Identifying workflow and orchestration scenarios.
• Creates and maintains the architecture for the business process domain to ensure alignment with the organization's priorities.
• Defines the specific components of the business process solution and the resulting relationships with the overall system and identifies the risks and assumptions as they relate to the system domain.
• Establishes the principles, directions and standards as it relates to the business process solution framework.
• Evaluates the business process solution set to make sure it is flexible enough to support incremental development, ongoing maintenance and future enhancements to the system architecture.
• Conduct interviews and facilitate meetings with business partners to derive and validate business processes models.
• Prepare current and future state business models in corporate modelling tools and perform gap analysis.
• We are seeking applications from high calibre Project Managers with solid Business Analysis skills with sound business and product knowledge in the Equity / Equity Derivatives arena.

• Experience of capital markets client onboarding lifecycle
• Strong ability to work with business reference models
• Strong skills in Modelling Business Processes, Organizations and linking to IT
• Deep understanding of tying business value to process and process to infrastructure
You will have a strong track record in process reengineering and automation with proven project management skills. Experienced gained within one of the major consultancy firms would be highly advantageous.
NB- This is a 'business-change' and process focussed role, not a Technology position, although an appreciation of IT-change and transformation is required.
Your remit will be broad and you will be expected to directly support and help deliver on the Front to Back change agenda.
