Business Architecture Consultant – Investment Banking Consultancy recruitment
The Senior Business Architect will be responsible for the design and development of our financial services client’s business architecture. You will be responsible for developing models, metrics and materials which set out the operating model of the business(es) through the capabilities; functions; processes; organisation units and structures; information flows and governance mechanisms. You will play a key role in driving the alignment of business strategy to the operational design (and associated roadmaps to achieve the operational design).
You will have strong stakeholder management skills and will be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, at all levels, throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate for will have experience of both business architecture and a background in investment banking or related financial services. You will be familiar with the Business Strategy and Application layers of TOGAF9 but comfortable with using our tailored and proprietary toolset.
You must have the ability to visualise and create high-level operating models and other representations which present different views of the business at varying levels of detail and can be adjusted as required by the context to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information. You will have experience of modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and an appreciation of how to develop a robust process architecture framework.
The following attributes are essential:
- Business Architecture experience and deep experience of working with Business Architecture frameworks and toolsets (e.g. TOGAF9)
- Knowledge and experience of strategy formulation
- Strong understanding of Investment Banking or related financial services
- Strong technology skills and an understanding of the project/change lifecycle
- Experience of working on technology integration projects and with vendor products would be desireable
